Biography
Vanessah Adutwumwaa Attah is a Ghana-qualified lawyer with experience spanning dispute resolution, contract and commercial law, corporate advisory, and regulatory compliance. Her work reflects strong exposure to both contentious and transactional matters, with a particular focus on high-stakes litigation, commercial agreements, and client representation in regulated sectors.
Vanessah has acted for individuals, financial institutions, and corporate entities in a variety of matters, including contract breaches, debt recovery, negligence, matrimonial disputes, and employment-related claims. She has successfully led and contributed to litigation teams that have recovered multi-million Ghana Cedi claims and negotiated favorable outcomes in sensitive, complex disputes. Her advisory practice includes reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, share purchase agreements, and employment agreements and documentation. She has supported clients in the energy, agriculture, financial services, and Esports sectors, advising on cross-border transactions, IP protection, and regulatory obligations under Ghanaian law.
Vanessah has also contributed to public-sector legal work through her role at the National Labour Commission, where she participated in the resolution of over 50 labour disputes and assisted with institutional reviews of collective bargaining frameworks. She is known for her detail-oriented, solution-driven approach and is particularly effective in matters requiring litigation and dispute resolution strategy, regulatory navigation, and commercially sound negotiation. Her background in both advocacy and advisory makes her well-suited to support clients in complex legal environments.
